Well this is an update two years later: I called to see if they had a space for us to pull thru a long site. We had some trouble on the road and had to get a rental trailer for our golf cart and it's broken trailer. The nice girl who returned my call said they cannot accommodate big rig (long RVs) like us, even though we were here 2 years ago and some of their sites are very long. She sounded like she really wasn't sure, but said their longest site was 45 feet long. She said she might ask someone in the park about it, but that was it. She wouldn't take our reservation. Sounds like maybe they hire inexperienced people. Tried to give them a second chance, but it is Easter Sunday. This was our first time staying here, just passing thru. We got in at 4:30 and the office was closed. They didn't answer the phone and we had reservations. There wasn't any after hours check in. So we were stuck wondering what to do. I walked up to the door and there sit 2 ladies inside the office ignoring the phones. They were confused that we were there because we had reservations. They did take care of us, but they get 3 stars for lack of customer service. The camp is kind of run down. There were no rules on their info sheet. One camper had a big home made dog house with a big dog in it and no one was home. Some sites were filled with lots of stuff. The camp is spread out with a lot of small ponds. The geese were finding it very enjoyable too. It was very quiet at this time of year. There seemed to be a lot of permanent people and families living here. We didn't use any of the facilities. The dog park was big, but the one bench in there was broke and unsafe to sit on. There was a garbage can for poop bags, but be sure to bring your own bags. There was a very small bag holder that appeared to be empty. Some of the campsites have lots of room and others are close together. We might stay here again if we can get someone to answer the phone or the door when we come in.Posted on Google Sagan BrownsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nice little campground well maintained reasonable rates and the lady at the front desk was absolutely fantastic.Posted on Google Josh KarczewskiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were looking for a water side space and chose one based on where we wanted to wake up and the view we wanted to enjoy. Our reservation was changed without notice to a site that wasn't what we wanted (decided not to extend a second day due to the change). Off-season... Facilities were clean. Overall site was nicely laid out. Cute ponds but they attract lots of geese so watch out for what they leave behindPosted on Google Lucy LooTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This campground was disappointing to me. its great you provide long term RV sites but there needs to better rules to ensure these sites are kept clean and less cluttered. Also, these long term residents should not be allowed to have pets that are kept outside 24/7 in small confined areas. I have been traveling full time for 5 years, visited many campgrounds in that timeframe, and this is the 1st campground on which I have written a negative review all due to your lack of concern for your 4 legged residents.Posted on Google Nick WheeldonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Two stars water and electric were good price was ok,we had a pull through site #95 we moved to#92 these sites are so far out of level im surprised our coach leveled front tires off the ground, at least 12 inches in 35 feet terrible, not recommend, sorry, every site in that row was terrible out of level needed work.Posted on Google Tammy PickensTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You can not book online. You must call. Late arrivals well managed. Alot of permanent residents but all kept up. Most of facilities are aging. Some items do not meet expectations (game room and gym). Laundry is $1.50 per load and not all washers/dryers work in the 2 laundry/bathhouses. No fire rings at sites and only scattered picnic tables. Road has alot of pot holes. Some leveling required. Game room pool table broken. Gym is a couple of pieces of equipment stuck in a corner. Mostly quiet with some road noise. There are several ponds so lots of mosquitos. Most temp sites not shaded. Grills at each site. Minigolf and shuffle board not useable. The back dump station is not useable after rain due to run off of dirt/gravel covering access cap. We must have missed the campfire snd cookouts on the weekends due to past season. Full hookups with spacious sites at very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly. The bathrooms are immaculately clean and the water is HOT! Separate area for tents and popups
